BT adheres and upholds the four basic consumer rights, which are also referred to as Consumer Bill of Rights. The Consumer Rights include, Right to Safety, Right to be Informed, Right to choose, Right to be heard, right to satisfaction of basic needs, right to redress, right to consumer education, and right to a healthy environment.
Right to Safety: At BT this implies that all or any of our products should cause no harm to the users. We take all precautions to sell products that adhere to established standards of quality and performance.
Right to be Informed: At BT we persevere to provide consumers appropriate information of our products and services. Our idea is to make our customers intelligent and informed product choices through complete awareness of the product specs, features, and benefits.
Right to Choose: AT BT, we establish the precedence of the users (customers) who should be provided a choice of products and services. Customers are given the freedom to take whatever they like best.
Right to be Heard: Customers' grievances are addressed immediately. For this purpose we have put in place a toll free number with rapid and responsive call centre staff. Our customers may either call us, or mail us for prompt feedback and corrective measures taken on each complaint.
Right to Satisfaction of Basic Needs: All people have some common concerns and needs. BT's endeavour is to meet the basic needs of people that will lead to enhancing the quality of life and general living environment
Right to Redress: BT promptly addresses the grievances of customers and buyers who say, what was promised was not delivered, and that the sale happened by misguiding and misinterpretation of the product / service benefits and uses
Right to Consumer Education: Each product or service we offer, comes with adequate consumer information, dos and don'ts, and steps to be taken to ensure quality performance
Right to Healthy Environment: Most of the electronic, security, electrical and safety equipment that we sell is manufactured as per Green norms and standards. This helps us to reduce the carbon footprint, and help in protection of the environment
